Jamie Augustus-Leigh Bielfelt

Jamie Bielfelt was peacefully called to heaven on March 30, 2025. Though our hearts are broken, we celebrate the life of Jamie, who passed right before he was to turn two months old. He spent his last moments with his loving mama and dada. Jamie was a ray of sunshine, who brought everyone a tremendous amount of love and happiness in the short amount of time he spent with us. Jamie was the happiest and healthiest baby, and we are devastated to have lost him so unexpectedly.

Jamie was born February 2, 2025 to Sarah Bielfelt and Corey Huettman in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoyed endless snuggles and making silly faces to make his family laugh. He had the best giggle and was the biggest mama's boy. His favorite place was his mother’s arms, and we will carry him forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his Mama, Sarah Bielfelt; Dad, Corey Huettman; sister, Aiyana; Aunts and Uncles, Crystal (Evan) Sampson, Nicole Bielfelt, Breanne Bielfelt, Jay Drummer, Samantha Clark; Grandma Elaine Kennard; and many other loving cousins & extended family members.

Jamie was preceded in death by his Uncle Danny James Bielfelt, (who he was named in honor of). They are now dancing together in peaceful harmony.

Jamie will be cremated so his final resting place can be a living urn, and his short but beautiful life can continue to live on and create more life. There will be a Celebration of Life Visitation for Jamie Jo at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, Iowa. All of those that loved and knew Jamie and his family are welcome to join us.
