Weston Eugene Langford, 79, was born June 19, 1945, in Omaha, Nebraska to David and Reva (Coffey) Langford. Wes passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky (Connie) Langford and Wesley (Beth) Langford; daughters-in-law, Roxanne Evins and Crystal Langford; grandchildren, Cory (Billy), Cole, Justin (Charisma), Ashley (Ryan), Kelsie, Mady, Dylan, Kyler, David, Brandon, Paige, Parker, Brin, Faith; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn, Barbara, Terry, and Ed; sisters-in-law, Joyce Short and Mary Blewett; nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends.

Wes was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patsy Jane Langford; parents, David and Reva Langford; sons, Dave Langford, Douglas (in infancy), and Billy Joe Evins; siblings, Janice Marker and Jack Langford; and his sister-in-law, Jeannie Fuwell.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
